A quick look at distance per kWh across EV and ICE
I wanted to know what Miles per Kilowatt Hour ICE vehicles got, out of interest and to gauge efficiency of ICE in another way (rather than % efficiency).
Apologies to metric users.
I found out that a typical ICE car on the road being driven by a typical driver probably doesn't even get 1.0 mi/kWh - I think.
It led me to making a quick table of various basic bits of info:
TOU = time of use e.g. Octopus Go
Donald is a character from a forum I frequent who made a few splashes with his hypermiling claims - generally being 80mpg from a diesel VW Passat.
This is a cross-post with a post I made at SpeakEV, a forum I frequent.
